Carol Leaman to share at the next Girl Geek Dinner KW

As the fall season begins so do the Girl Geek Dinners. September 20th we are back with Carol Leaman the CEO of 17muscles.  This will undoubtedly be an evening of great stories and career highlights from a local tech entrepreneur.   Join the “girl geeks” at Oliver & Bonacini to share in the conversation.

A little bit about our speaker:

Carol Leaman is the the CEO of 17muscleswhich is an early stage software company that uses technology to identify, measure and close critical knowledge gaps in employees.  Using principles of behavioural psychology the company provides an interval reinforcement platform that quickly and easily enhances knowledge retention of key policies and procedures.

Prior to 17muscles Carol was the CEO of PostRank a web-based software company that tracked where and when online audiences were interacting with content in the social sphere.  After receiving acquisition interest from a number of third parties, Carol sold PostRank to Google in June of this year.

Carol has also been the CEO of RSS Solutions and Fakespace, two other tech companies that she sold to strategic acquirers in North America.  Carol has a finance background and a Master of Accounting from the University of Waterloo.  She loves all things technology, and sits on the boards of many local organizations.

You can sign up for this event today! You will notice that we have added $5 fee to the Girl Geeks Dinner – this is to help us manage attendance and provide the speaker with a meal as a thanks for volunteering their time.
